NetWalking launches in the North West

Posted: Thu 2nd August, 2012

Despite being heavily involved in the Paralympic Games, as a Game Commissioner for the Wheelchair Basketball, trainer and exercise scientist Emma Foden has still found time to launch an new exercise initiative in the North West.

NetWalking combines a walk in the fresh air with business networking, and is Emma’s idea to help busy professionals fit in both exercise and business.

“There are many networking meetings around, but all indoors” said Emma. “Walking and talking is a great way to meet new contacts and get moving too.”

Emma’s first NetWalking NorthWest event will be on 16th August at 7pm, meeting at The Cheshire Cat, Christleton.  The walk will be along the canal towpath, for about an hour.

The second event is at Delamere Forest at 1pm on 23rd August, meeting in the car park by the visitor centre.

Each NetWalk NorthWest costs £5 to attend, which includes a bottle of water, warm up with Emma, and an attendance list.

“We’re trying different formats, times and locations” said Emma, “so we’re really keen to get feedback, or to hear of any other suggestions for good NetWalking locations. We’re also looking at doing a family walk too in the near future.

You can register for the events via Eventbrite or by emailing Emma: emma@dynamicfitnessuk.com
